Financial Advisor


Candace grew up in Fullerton, CA with her parents and is the eldest of 4 children. She was an avid skier, pianist, and was an equestrian where she regularly competed in hunter and jumper competitions throughout California. Her early passion for the outdoors, music, and general love for all animals has stayed with her throughout her life. She also has a passion for gardening and leads a healthy lifestyle in all aspects. She enjoys traveling, going to the symphony, USC football, and living (and enjoying) life to the fullest extent. 

Candace attended the University of Southern California and obtained a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Speech Communications in 1977. Go Trojans! She went on to work in the medical sales industry selling pharmaceuticals and medical equipment. She later transitioned to the home health care industry and developed a passion for helping elders and their families. To further assist individuals and make an impact on their lives, she joined Northwestern Mutual in 1998 as a Financial Advisor.

To give back to her community, she has served on the boards for the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, The Vista Hill Foundation, Serving Seniors, the Jenna Druck Foundation, Scripps Health Foundation Advisory Board and the Scripps Cancer Center, Stevens Division.  

She currently lives in Mission Valley with her son, Chase and their two cats; Brigitte and Sivan (a Ragdoll and Siamese Snowshoe).
